Okay, so I got the energy, well, ok, some energy to post something funny. I'm currently researching tatoo artists for my nephew as I plan to get him a tatoo for his 19th birthday. It's what he wants, so it's what he'll get. Yes, for all of you that watched lil' Alex grow up and still remember him as being a cute but bratty five year old, he is soon to be 19! Scary?! I know!!!
Anyway, I asked Annie here at work as she has some tats where she would suggest. She suggested a place and gave me random info on some of the artists at the tatoo place she recommends. So here I am with my pen and yellow sticky note, writing coles notes on what she said. Then, me being me, I stick it on my computer screen...at work. Just picture someone dropping by my desk to see this:
Nathan = good
Jarret = good and more expensive = long wait (which actually kind of looks like it says 'long want').lol.
Orrin = good
I know, I know, it doesn't look good. It looks like I've been researching exotic male dancers or something not innocent at all.lol. But lesson learned, post-it has been removed. :)

Dashing Dishes
Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of blogs but I've been under the weather the past few days and got lazy. hehe. Anyway, I'm feeling much better but still lacking any creativity. :s
So, instead of my normal 'Friday Funny', I'm going to give you some info on Dashing Dishes as I have my second session tonight and I LOVE it! I keep recommending it so I hope people have the same great experience I do. :)
http://www.dashingdishes.com/regina/
If you go to the link above, you will have access to much of the information I'm about to share. Plus, I can give you the inside scoop since I've gone once before. I may not be a pro but I hope to offer some insight. :)
First of all, I should say that this is a company that sets up 'shop' at various locations so that people can go and create at least 8 yummy meals in just one night. The whole idea is that they prep EVERYTHING for you, and I mean EVERYTHING from the peppers being pre-chopped to the meat being pre-cut. *Just an FYI before I forget...there is NO cooking in these sessions. It's all about preparation and I think it's awesome! In approximately two hours, I can prep anywhere between 8 to 12 entrees or more if I want to. Each entree can be split into two servings which comes in handy for single people or couples without children. I would say that all dishes can feed at least 4 people, some would definitely feed more and most importantly, the dishes we have tried have been delicious! Are some better than others, yes, but were any inedible? No. I found them all enjoyable. On the cooking directions, they even suggest side dishes that would go well with the entree. I find most of the dishes I had from the first session went well with salad, rice, crusty bread. YUM!
When you get there, they will give you the meat for your meal and send you to an open prep station. At the station, you will add the ingredients they provide and list. What I love about this is that you can add more of what you like and less of what you don't like. Once your done, you seal the ziplock bag, attach the cooking directions and throw it in your cooler. When you get home, you freeze everything. Then, on the night before you're wanting to enjoy the meal, you take it out and put it in the fridge for thawing and then follow the cooking instructions the following night. These instructions applied to all of the dishes I had in my first session but I'm sure cooking instructions do vary so be sure to follow them for the BEST. MEAL. EVER!!! lol.
I just enjoy it so much because for Keith and I, we're looking at anywhere from 16 to 20 meals for the cost of $175 and I don't have to do any prep aside from the side dish. LOVE IT! Now, $175 might be steep for some people and I completely understand. But just think, if you have company over throughout the year, think of how handy this would come in. Especially if you host dinners on a regular basis. You're looking at about $21 per entree to feed four or more people plus some side dishes which might take you up to about $30 to $35. Not too shabby in my opinion. If you were to go out and buy every single thing you might need to make a nice dinner to sit down to, I'm sure it would cost much more than. But anyway, just a thought I had to share.lol. Me and my opinions. hehe.
So yeah, check out the link as they give allot of information and there's a number you can call if you have any additional inquiries. Although, just a heads up, the March menu doesn't appeal to me all that much but they change the menu each month. So, if one month doesn't look appetizing, stay tuned to see what's next to come. :)
And, as always, if you have some questions, feel free to ask me and I hope I'll have an answer for you. :)
Cheers and HAPPY TGIF! :)

Baby blues
Oh, I've got the baby blues, and I'm not talking about my eyes.lol. And NO, I'm not pregnant, however, that is my topic of choice today.
See, when I'm not around babies, it's aaaaalllll good. I think, meh, I have time, we have time, etc....I still feel that way BUT whenever I'm around a baby and/or babies, I feel the lure to rush out and get prego. Okay, well not 'rush' out cause that would mean I was a cheatin' bum, but you get the jist.lol.
As most of my readers know, I have been quizzed numerous times as to whether I was pregnant or not shortly after people found out Keith and I eloped. Hello SHOTGUN wedding (not that there's anything WRONG with that) if that were the case! lol. Anyway, after saying no to drinking at a friend's stagette I was approached by more than one person (away from everyone else) to see if there was a 'certain' reason why I wasn't drinking. I found this to be very funny and not insulting at all as I think people just eat that stuff up, myself included. :p
I have both family and friends that have had children in the past year or two that I absolutely adore seeing. What really gets me, is when the baby/babies dive in for a hug or just stare at me and seem enamoured by me. :) I seriously eat this shit up and it's going to get me in
T R O U B L E!!! I know, realistically, it won't happen any time soon (or at least I hope) cause we're SO NOT READY! I do prefer to do things in some order and I would also prefer that we have a big enough place so that our newborn doesn't have to sleep in a drawer. lol. But I do also prefer that some day (far, far away), when someone corners me to ask me why I'm not drinking, I can whisper back some lie, until I'm ready to tell EVERYONE that I'm pregnant! lol.

Funny Fridays
I know that somewhere deep down inside, I have tons of funny stories to tell. However, today I am kind of restless and cannot follow through on my thoughts. This means that my story might look like:
So this one time I like/I like LO-OVE to dance/he said it was the worst thing ever/My mom once wore/SUCK IT!
Let's be honest....that would not make for a good story, so instead, I have some pet peeves and some rules that I feel the need to share.
Pet peeves:
1) Know-it alls - really, you think you know EVERYTHING, that's highly unlikely!
2) When people drive like butt munches and then they give YOU the finger - so you didn't noticed you're the one driving like an ASS and just because I didn't get out of your way as you tried blowing passed me at 70, I'm the bad guy???
3) People that sneeze like this - HA-A-CHEEEWIE (and place the emphasis on the CHEEEWIE) - Really, is that necessary???
4) Retail stores that actually believe big people WANT to wear floral so 90% of their clothes have flower patterns on them - fat people like SOLID colors TOO!!!
5) People that are moody - is it that hard to have one personality and role with it?
6) People that get on the elevator and only go up or down one floor - although, I can sympathize with this one because:
Rule #1 - there should be a law against having to climb UP stairs prior to 10am...the going down one floor is just plain lazy
Rule #2 - wear nice clothes that are presentable and suit the style of where you are. I don't care what your size is, there is NO reason for anyone to still have 'stuff' hanging out after putting clothes on (insert pet peeve - muffin tops - why buy pants that are too small and cause you to have a muffin top. It just does NOT make sense). If I can way a ba-zillion pounds and still dress nice, so can YOU!
3) Everyone should have so many days in the year that they have to live in another person's shoes that is the complete opposite of themselves
4) And finally, LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE!
Happy TGIF everyone. :)

Thoughts to live by...
Starting at a fairly young age I witnessed the tragedy of family and friends 'losing' loved ones and have experienced it as well. I have seen it happen unexpectedly and expectedly but either way, it's a hard thing in life to have to deal with throughout our lives. Having experienced someone passing away that I loved dearly at the age of 11 (if I remember correctly), starting with my fav babysitter Eva, I find that I'm always saying 'I love you' and am always ready to hand out hugs left and right. Now some people might think that I can go overboard but really, I know the one thing I'll never regret in my life was that I loved too much and that I never hesitated to show it. I received an email that I think everyone should read and take it for what it is....thoughts, words and actions to live by. It says:
One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the
warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of learning
that sometimes there isn't "anymore."
No more hugs,no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone
calls just to chat, no more "just one minute."
Sometimes, what we care about the most
Gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say
good-bye, say "I love you."
So while we have it, it's best we love it,
Care for it, fix it when it's broken and
Heal it when it's sick.
This is true for marriage ...
And old cars, and children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips,
family and aging parents and grandparents.
We keep them because they are worth it ......
because we are worth it.
Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a
sister-in-law after divorce.
There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what.
Life is important. We only have one.
We only have one mom, one dad,
one unique brother or sister or friend.
I received this from someone who thought I was a 'keeper'! Then I sent it
to the people I think of in the same way.
Now it's your turn to send this to all those people who are "keepers" in
your life, including the person who sent it, if you feel that way.
Suppose one morning you never wake up.
Do all your friends know you love them?
I was thinking....I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered
if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed
rekindling or three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends and family know you love them. Even if you
think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three
little words and a smile can do.
And just in case GOD calls me home . . .
I LOVE YA ! :-)
Live today to the fullest
Because tomorrow is not promised.
I wish I could show credit to the person that wrote this but I have no idea who or where it came from. All I can say is thank you for creating such a beautiful tribute to life and love. :)
I dedicate this to all of you that I love (you know who you are) and to those that have lost a loved one. You are always in my thoughts and in my heart. HUGS, HUGS and MORE HUGS!

Family Day Fun
Oh! How I LOVE that today is considered a holiday! Unlike some others, Keith and I will actually be spending part of the day with my family this evening. For this, I am thankful because some people don't have family in town or have any family at all. Plus, as much as we drive each other nuts, there's a closeness there that no one will understand besides us. :)
On top of getting to spend some time with my family, I just got back from a kick butt bowling birthday party for my friend's six year old daughter. Granted, it wasn't my 'family' technically that I was with but they may as well be. They are friends and friends of my family and I sure do consider them to be my 'other' family. I think I'm pretty lucky in that sense. I have always thought that by some mysterious luck on my part that I've TRULY been blessed to have all these amazing people in my life. Some of them, I won't see for extended periods of time because they live so far away but here we were today, bowling our butts off and it's like we haven't skipped a beat. You know when you have people like that in your life, you're one lucky bugger (which I am)! For this, I am thankful and hope to never take it for granted. As my one friend would say (you know who you are)....insert a bunch of mushy stuff year, etc.lol. See, I told you that I have really funny friends....case and point.lol. :)
Happy Family Day everyone!
ps. does anyone else find it as funny as I do that I kept typing blowing instead of bowling??? teehee! :)

What do you do to us Valentine's Day?!
So here it is, Valentine's day!!! Have I been pampered, spoiled, and eaten chocolates all day??? NO, not at all! So far, I have met a friend for coffee, grabbed one for my husband (cause I'm the best wife EVER), got groceries and am currently doing laundry after having finished some dishes (all of which I'm okay with). It's not like Feb 14th rolls around and I'm incapable of doing anything.lol. However, it is nice to get a little something even though it's just a 'holiday created by card companies...bah, blah, blah, blah, BLAH!' I don't care what anyone says....it is NICE to get something as simple as a card. I mean, I know that I don't want to be the only married gal in Regina that gets shit all when this day rolls around. That being said, I should mention here that Keith got me an extremely sweet card and a bookmark with a K on it, which was very thoughtful and kind of him. Thanks my love. :)
But really, what is it about this day that tends to bring some/many single ladies to find a date, just for the sake of not sitting at home alone or brings them to tears because they have no one to share it with? Oh, the pressure of it all!!! I'm the first to admit, it used to bum me out a little when I was single and I would head in to work to see desks overflowing with flowers and/or chocolates from significant others. I'm also the first to admit that had Keith not done anything at all, I would have been a little bummed too. It's weird because Keith is constantly showing me he loves me, always making me laugh and never hesitates to spend some quality time with me. But this day comes along and BAM, I want a little extra for some strange reason that I'll probably never understand. Weird, right?!
I will say this though, I do think Valentines Day is a great day for couples that don't always take the time to have a date night to actually take one and just enjoy each other. Cause that's what we're really all here for, is to enjoy the people in our lives and to show it on occassion. AND, as unfortunate as it is, sometimes we do need a reminder like a day that's dedicated to love for us to take a step back and make an effort. I mean, really people, I know it's commercialized which is super annoying, but is it that hard to go pick up a card or chocolates or a flower or two?! No, it's not, so if you haven't already, run out and grab something for your significant other if you can. It may be a pain in the tush for you (trust me, you'll get over the shame of giving in to the Hallmark holiday), but the person that receives it WILL be thankful.....I'm just saying.....
If you're single and bumming yourself out, get up off that couch also and go grab yourself something pretty. It WILL make you feel better, I promise. So to all of the couples out there and to all the singles guys and gals, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! <3

Oh, CANADA!
Damn straight OH CANADA! Did anyone see the opening for the Olympics???COLOR.ME.IMPRESSED!!!
Now, I'm not one to walk around parading in my Canadian gear or even one to follow the olympics, but that doesn't mean I'm not proud to be Canadian. I love our anthem, I love our scenery, our people, our pride, our values as a country (for the most part) and most of all, I love our SPIRIT!
Not to sound too much like a cheer leader but GO CANADA!!!
Now, I know that I can be a tad bit overlly sensitive at the best of times but last night, watching the events unfold, honestly became a moment in my life I hope to never forget. Team Canada came out and you didn't even need to have your eyes on the t.v. to know what was happening. The crowd went CA-RAZY and I ate it all up. And when that stage lit up, OMG, all I could do was swallow my tears and smile in an attempt to avoid my ugly crying. Yes, even if I'm happy crying, it's still ugly crying. SO.NOT.PRETTY! lol.
So whether we win or lose any and every event, I will not care (okay, maybe I'll care a little) because whether we rise above or fail miserably, we still have the same AWESOME SPIRIT the next time around. Why,?! Because we're Canadian and that's THAT!!!
Kindly,
Your AWESOME SPIRITED CANADIAN BLOGSTER!

Funny Friday with ELVO!
My husband is a BIG FAN of my scrambled eggs which is surprising considering I'm allergic and haven't tasted them in years. On occassion I cook them up for him to enjoy. One day I sent them to work with him for lunch. Me being the clever gal that I am, wrote a cute lil' note that said...
'Scrambled eggs for my SWB made with ELVO!' Which, was supposed to represent the word LOVE, but scrambled (clever, right?)...like his eggs. Get it?! Well apparently my husband (whom I consider to be pretty damn smart) obviously didn't because when I got home he said 'Who the hell is ELVO?!'
Boy, he sure knows how to make me laugh!!! :)
I hope you all have alot of ELVO in your life as everyone should!!!

So full of myself
So apparently I'm SO full of myself that I added myself as a follower of my own blog.lol. This is proof that I am completely useless when it comes to technology. Here's a conversation I had with Kelly Rock Johnson (name has been changed for privacy reasons and because she's IN LOVE with The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson) while trying to prove to myself that I'm capable of doing something as simple as adding someone as a follower of my blog....
Scene: I just told her I started a 'Blog'
Kelly Rock Johnson: OK - cuz I'm OLD....I don't really get what 'blogging' is....
Kelly Rock Johnson: please explain to this senior citizan. thanks you... :)
Me: Oh, you know this is going in my blog! lol.
Kelly Rock Johnson: okee dokee artichokee
Me: Did you check it out?
Kelly Rock Johnson: No, but I will at home
Me: Excellent, I think tomorrow I might have to post what you wrote to me cause you made me giggle. :)
Kelly Rock Johnson: OK - do that....and put my name as Kelly Rock Johnson (did I mention she requested this name specifically?) .lol.
Me: I SO WILL!
Kelly Rock Johnson: ok - then you can use my name
Me: SUH-WEET!!!
Cut to: Kelly tells me she can't figure out how to add herself as a follower. I tell her to come see me and I will show her how.
End result: I add myself as a follower....AND, Kelly Rock Johnson STILL isn't a follower! lol. (sorry Kelly Rock Johnson...we'll get you on here, I PROMISE!) :)
Moral of the story: I suck at technology, but I already knew that. :p

Ma SISTA....
....is getting MARRIED! That's right, it must be contagious!!! lol.
As you can tell I am crazy PUMPED about this even though she just told me last night, I'm probably driving her NUT-ZO already. But I don't care cause she's GETTING FREAKING MARRIED!
Okay, now that I got that out I can chillax a wee bit. PHEW! So here I am all excited but I gots to calm down. Why? Because I've been fooled before! lol. Two Christmas' ago, Devon (my brother-in-law) told me he was going to propose so I got all happy and out of control omgomgomg I'm going to be a bridesmaid and more importantly, they're getting married!!! So he proposed and all was well but they decided they were in no rush. So, I was back to my normal self and not in a 'we have a wedding coming up and I need to lose weight and OMG I'm excited' mode any longer.
And now, here we are again! lol. But this time, they have actually picked a month, not a day, but a month so we're one step closer this time. hehehe. I'm still trying to convince my sister they should do it this September. When I said that she was like 'My Gawd Kim, no wonder you eloped!', which is totally true. I can't help myself...I kind of turn into a spaz when a wedding is in the air. I'm sure had we not eloped I would have been a bridezilla FO' SHO'! lol.
So other than this FUN news, I don't have much to say today other than:
Congrats sis! I'm very happy for you and Devon. I love you so much and love that good things are coming your way. And please, for the love of GAWD, do NOT put me in taffetta!!!

Quote of the day
I have a friend that does some work on the side at the airport. Her job consists of going in and quickly cleaning out some planes. So she comes over tonight for a visit and tells us how earlier tonight she was working away and a newbie asks her why she's not wearing gloves to which she replied 'Have you ever tried cleaning a carpet with gloves on?'
Enough said! LMAO! :)
Enough said! LMAO! :)
Funny Fridays
Hi everyone! Happy TGIF!!! On my way to work I decided to make Fridays on my blog, 'Funny Fridays'. This means I plan to tell you some funny stories and hope you get some good giggles in for the day. I hope to make this a weekly thing but some things I find funny, other people...not so much.lol. But here it goes.....
Kim and Shawn's trip to B.C.
About 9 years ago (give or take a little) my friend Shawn and I opted to drive up to B.C. and have some fun with friends that were already out there. On the way out we experienced MANY weird things....like fog, oh, the fog....it was not enjoyable. I was driving along and the roads as we headed out of Regina. Since I get car sick we had agreed that I would drive in the prairies and he would handle driving in the mountains. The roads were great and Shawn, for whatever reason said 'Watch, I bet as soon as I start driving, it will start raining'. He was 'almost' right and I should have told him to knock on wood if I thought it was possible for us to encounter rain....but it was just so nice out. However, it became his turn to drive and within three minutes we were hit with heavy fog which I just found pretty funny considering Shawn had made that comment prior to getting in the drivers seat. Poor, poor Shawn. OH how I owe you for driving through that crap!!!
Another thing we experienced was exhaustion since Shawn had to do the majority of the driving as I tend to get car sick which makes me very nauseous, groggy and sleepy. With us being so sleepy we decided to make a pit stop and take a snooze.
Both of us were far too cheap at the time to spend money on a room for the night so we opted to take a nap in the car. This wouldn't have been such an odd thing to do but it wasn't exactly warm out but Shawn insisted on saving gas and turning off the car. This meant I was cold and when I'm cold, I have to pee and if I have to pee, it means I can't sleep!!! However, at some point we got a bad case of the giggles b/c I insisted we leave the keys in the ignition so that if someone in the parking lot approached the vehicle we could make a quick get-a-way. Apparently I thought we were fugitives at the time.
But all the fog, the exhaustion, the car sickness and The Spice Girls (did I mention we listened to them NON-STOP and NO, I will not lower my head in shame) were worth it just to have such a gem of a story to tell....trust me, it's good (atleast to me).lol.
Now somewhere along the way, I decided to try this good ol' driving in the mountains thing. I mean, I was feeling okay and thought it was fair to give Shawn a break. The weather was good, the roads looked good so I thought, why not give it a go....
Well, I never mentioned these things before but I think they are key to the story. Take these things into consideration while reading/picturing this:
#1 - Shawn and I, by NO means were small people at the time. Shawn is a skinny minny now but back then, (and still currently for me) we were probably above what is considered obese.
#2 - Shawn can be stubborn. Don't deny it Shawn, you know it's true.lol.
#3 - it was my FIRST TIME driving in the mountains
#4 - Shawn thought at the time he knew EVERYTHING about driving cause you know, he had his license the longest and he did the most driving, etc, etc, etc.
SO, here I am driving along and we start to lose speed which tells me we're on a mountain but we just can't tell cause they are all windy and can appear to be flat road when you're driving. Shawn and I both notice this but I just keep driving along thinking it'll get better. Shawn starts vocalizing his irritation with me that I wasn't pushing the peddle down far enough to which I started laughing and told him I was but he didn't seem to believe me. I mean, really, out of all the things to lie about....why that?! lol. Then, he decides that I need to switch into a lower gear...so I do (in the event of humouring him) and as I'm doing this I'm trying to explain to him that I think it's just because we're on a mountain. But is he satisfied with this response....ooooooohhhhh nnnnooooooo because that would mean I was right and he was....heaven forbid, WRONG! Now, his suggestion of switching to a lower gear doesn't work which means Shawn is beyond pissed at this point and I'm frustrated but finding it kind of amusing. So what does someone usually do when something isn't going their way? THEY.TAKE.CONTROL! Oh yes, Shawn told me to pull over cause he was going to take over driving. At this point, why even argue....I just pulled over, put the car in first gear, put the emergency break on and we both get out of the car. Can you guess what happens next???
That's right, with us being on a mountain (LIKE I HAD TOLD HIM) and our weight not holding down the car, it started rolling backwards. So here we are, two 'fatties' jogging backwards with the car, trying to get back in. It's not like it was going super fast but seriously, color us SHOCKED. I mean, I knew we were on a mountain but I never would have thought this would happen. You know, because the rules of gravity don't apply to us....we are INVINCIBLE! Um, k, not so much.lol. And OH YES, people witnessed this....not many...maybe one or two cars. Either way, enough to cause embarassment.
Now what seems like forever probably was really only three seconds (if that) before Shawn starting yelling for me to get back in the car. I was like 'Heeeellllooooo, if I could get in the car, I WOULD HAVE ALREADY!' I didn't say it but I definitely thought it. Plus, it didn't help that I couldn't stop laughing the entire time because a part of me was thinking this couldn't really be happening and that maybe I was in a dream or something. But someone above must have been on our side cause somehow we both managed to throw our bodies back into the car before it fell victim to going off the road with us in tow. With all this being said and done....it was, ofcourse, harder to get the car going. We ended up going slower than we were to begin with and more exhausted than ever (atleast I was). What did we do to cure this exhaustion, embarassment, and irritation? If I remember correctly, we pumped The Spice Girls...cause were AWESOME like that!
Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Dreams
Dreams are a funny thing, aren't they??? They can cause us to wake up in a good mood, bad mood, sad mood and quite often for me, a WTF mood! The craziest thing is that some seem SO real!!! I remember I once called my stepmom in a panick because I had had a terrible dream about my baby brother. I woke up with tears streaming down my eyes and very short of breath. I don't recall telling her specifics about my dream because I didn't want to freak her out but I remember calling just to make sure they were okay and they were! PHEW! I was relieved and then....I went back to bed. hehe.
I think the absolute best was when my friend Dawn just didn't seem too impressed with me for weeks on end. She was short with me, abrupt, rude, and just seem annoyed with my existence which was weird cause as I said before, I'm a pretty cool cat! However, I'm also a HUGE worry-wart so I remember being torn over why she was being so short with me...I mean, I just plain.didn't.get.it!!! So after some sleepless nights due to an abrupt conversation with her I FINALLY said something. I don't remember specifically how the conversation went but I think it was similiar to 'DUDE, WTF?' lol. And when she took the time to think about it she was like 'OMGITWASADREAM!' and I was all like 'SAAAAAY WHAAAAT?' Then we gafawed like NUTS! All I can say is that I'm glad I called her out on it cause I was to the point where I was thinking our friendship would be null and void. I know, I can be quite dramatic! :s
It happened a long time ago but we still chuckle about it when it comes up in conversation. And, I'm happy to report that she is still one of my closest, dearest friends and was my witness on my wedding night. Thank GAWD cause she's pretty freaking awesome! :)
But anyway, back to my dreams. hehe. So last night I had this dream that I was driving...I think I was on Dewdney maybe. You know how dreams are...you're here, you're there, you're everywhere. AND, people change...which just confuses the F out of me! But when I have a dream that I actually remember, I'm always looking for the meaning behind it. So here I am driving and I remember having this dreaded feeling of going somewhere I didn't want to go (quite possibly work).lol. Just kidding! But I felt very alone and the streets were empty and I was downright sad to be on this long road all by my lonesome. And then, OUT OF NOWHERE, I feel some wind cause for no apparent reason I had my window rolled down in the middle of the winter. The weird thing is, it wasn't windy at all and up until this point, everything had been quite still. All the sudden I feel someone touching me and low and behold, it's Keith, reaching for me and taking my hand while he's driving in another vehicle. How bizarre is that?!
Now, I did happen to have a somewhat sleepless night last night due to Keith and his dreams and talking in his sleep which always puts me out of wack cause you know, I LOVE SLEEP! I'll even admit that it makes me raging bitchy some times. :s
So, as much people might like to think the meaning here is that no matter what, he's always with me and will support me in any way possible, I'd like to think that remembering this dream is just plain luck on his part!!!
Why? Because this morning I was ready to shake him till he woke up so that I could ruin his sleep just as he had ruined mine! Have I mentioned that I'm also quite unreasonable when I haven't gotten much sleep? lol.
But now, he's just plain lucky that I might actually consider talking to him and being somewhat nice to him when I get home. He's even luckier if I still make him the scrambled eggs of mine that he enjoys so much! :p
That being said, I hope you all have SWEET DREAMS TONIGHT!!!

Ode To Our Wedding
So I PROMISE not to constantly blog about our wedding but I figure I should, at the very least do a lil' write up for those of you that don't know me.
From very early into our relationship, I knew that Keith was 'THE ONE' because I mean, look at how CUTE he is! lol. Keith...well he took a lil' bit longer to come to the realization that I was UBER fantabulous but he did come around (shortly after me, I might add). For the first couple of months, he was consistent in saying 'Marriage.....not so sure if that's something I want to do.' But I felt it was my duty as a woman who believes almost anything is possible when love is in the air to say, 'If you really love someone, you'll do what's necessary to keep that person in your life.' And now I can say 'HERE WE ARE SUCKER!' lol!
Now I was never one that thought marriage was an absolute necessity by any means but it just turns out it was something I have always known I wanted if I ever met THE ONE. I think there's something amazing about two people, who were previously random strangers, coming together and saying 'You're the one I want to share and witness my life with.' Life and love are truly beautiful...and even though falling in love can be insanely fun and exciting, it can also be scary, nerve racking, and downright messy at times. And for someone like myself, who at some point prior to meeting Keith had decided she was okay with being single for eternity KNOWS that every second of it has been worth it because it all led to this.....

Funny people - my first blog!!! (color me excited)
With this being my FIRST BLOG, I thought it would make sense to say a wee bit more about myself. Who am I kidding?!?! I LOVE talking about myself so it's going to be more than the previously 'wee bit' I mentioned. I also LOVE typing LIKE THIS! lol.
For starters...if I have done my math correctly (most likely not), my husband and I have been together for about one year and seven months. He is the love of my life, his voice and laughter is the music to my ears, he puts the bounce in my step (aside from my huge ass), and always brings a smile to my face and is constantly making me laugh. I know, you're all wanting to puke now...go ahead....I'll wait. :p
But really, I didn't land this guy and marry him in such a short time for no reason. Although, despite the jokes...I should mention this now...Kim = NOT PREGNANT! So I'll lay the rumours to rest now. hehe. He is just a wonderful man and I'm lucky to have snagged him as he was lucky to have snagged me. I mean, I AM pretty AWESOME after all.
I have tons of other stuff to say but I'll get into a lot more in other blogs. I just wanted to get this started and say hi...to like, well no one at this point since it's my first blog. WELCOME! :)
Also, before signing off, I would like to dedicate this blog to my co-worker Annie who contributes to much of my laughter and will probably be the first to read my blog...since I told her she HAD to. lol.
Scene: Annie and I carpooling this morning
Me - driving
Annie - talking calmly
A fellow driver - cuts in front of us without signalling
Annie - NICE SIGNAL DOUCHE BAG!....
Annie - immediately resumes talking calmly
Me - laughing so hard I somewhat snort and accuse her of having tourettes
AAAAHHHH life is good when you have funny people around you!
