House Hunting

Well, we may be getting ahead of ourselves in the Cullins household but so be it! We're currently waiting to hear back from the bank about a lil' thing called a mortgage. And when I say lil' I mean BIG, like in HUGE deal! If we play our cards right this will mean more space (which we need), no noisy neighbours (which my sanity needs), a place with a dishwasher (which Keith's sanity needs) and above all else, a place we can call home TOGETHER!

When I met Keith I was in an apartment and while that was great and all, they kept raising my rent. It had gotten to the point that we were spending a majority of our time together and it just made sense. Plus, I bitched and moaned about them raising my rent and I expressed how I would prefer to live in a box to save money for a place to own instead of renting and call it my home. As in, that's right, I OWN you biatch OOOWWWWNNNN you! lol.

Keith being the Knight and Shining Armour that he is 'allowed' me to move in with him as a result of my bitching and moaning.lol. Of course, this came with consequences. Smaller place = less entertaining for the Kimster. :(
And, if anyone knows me at all, they know how much I like to entertain! That's right, this girl knows how to paaaarrrrrt-aaay!!! Mmmm...wiiiine. hehe.

Okay, okay, where was I heading with this? OH! RIGHT! So we've been looking online even though we're not sure if we'll get the loan or not but whatever, it's fun. What people post AMAZES me to the point that I want to put a note on their door or contact their Real Estate agent and be like 'FOR REALZ?'

Such as:
One add stated 'Basement appears to be made of concrete but no guarantee'. Like ZOINKS, no thank you! lol.

Another add had one picture to which I was like 'ONE picture - of the bathroom'? It's like, 'Thanks for showing me where I can piss & shit, is that where I eat and sleep too'? Again, ZOINKS and no thanks! lol.

And, the search continues.....

  1. I still think you should check out our super cute Lakeview bungalow. There's a dishwasher, great (quiet) neighbours and some cute crown moulding my husband installed. The basement's not finished but, we know for certain it's concrete. It's also braced because it's a south end house from the 50s. I know what the price says but, we're open to offers.
We'd love to stay but, I'm really craving a bit more space and a play room for my soon to be brood.
Check out our MLS:376579 (The pictures don't do it justice... I think we've made it pretty darned cute. We want some sweet people to live here and love it too).
