When did people get so LAZY?! I really want to know when this happened. Have people always been slow and lazy and I just never noticed until I got older and more crusty?! Is it possible that I have become like an older aunt or uncle or grandparent? (like how I left my parents out of that comment?)
After work today I stopped at Co-op to get some groceries. And you know what, HEAVEN FORBID the lady at the till actually had to move her arms to get the scanner to beep! I actually found it quite comical but I was annoyed at the same time. Like she takes the item and holds it up to the scanner and nothing is happening. So she continues to stand there waiting for something to happen and then *sighs* because it's not scanning. Then, she moves her hand like a quarter of an inch and it beeps. THEN, she sighs AGAIN because apparently moving her wrist was quite the task for her to do while AT WORK! lol.
All I can say is, my bejesus people sure do seem to get lazier as time goes on. Does anyone have any work ethic any more, like even an ounce?!
Dang, I SO sound like my father right now. EEEPPPP! lol.

TGIF, like seriously!
I am OH SO happy it is Friday. lalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. :)
Of course today was a busy day and I'm just MORE than ecstatic to be at home with my husband now that the work day is done. Can I get a.....A-WOO-HOO?!
The biggest news aside from being busy (which seems to be far too often lately), is that I'm going to Calgary next weekend. WHICH, I am super pumped about! Plans of shopping and wining and dining....nnnnoooo, not me. Okay, well, we'll wine and dine but I can live without the shopping part.
I'm going for a girls weekend to see my lovely gal pal Jane and the time couldn't be better! We have no plans except to eat, drink, and visit in her lovely new home on her lovely new deck. Oh, and of course we'll probably watch some girlie movies.
This will officially be the longest time Keith and I have been apart since Keith and I 'got serious'! It's going to be quite the experience I would imagine. One thing I absolutely LOVE about Keith is his voice. Since he's hard of hearing, he's unable to communicate on the phone. It'll be weird going that long without hearing his voice. :(
I will survive but still, I love his voice with a capital LOVE! lol.
As for this weekend, Saturday is somewhat 'action packed'. Tomorrow I have a wedding shower to attend and things to get done around the house and some errands to run. Sunday, I got nada but at the rate things are going, I'd be surprised if plans didn't come up. All is fine by me as long as the sun is out!
Well, off to have some supper and canoodle with the love of my life. I know...eeeeeeeewwwww, right? RIGHT!

Weekly Weigh-In
HI there everyone! I'm back...well at least until my next exam takes over my time with reading and studying and yada, yada, yada. hehe.
Yesterday was our weigh-in day and I'm down 3 pounds. Can I get a: A-WOO-HOO?! I think 3 down is pretty good even though I was hoping to be down a lil' more than that. We hadn't had a weigh-in for two weeks so I thought maybe some magic would happen and I would have stepped on that scale and shaved a good 5 pounds off my tush. A girl can dream, right? RIGHT!
On that same note, I believe my dietitian and I need to have a discussion about her math skills. She figures that with my calorie intake and activity level, I should be losing a good 2-3 per week. Um, I beg to differ. Although, it's not her fault that sometimes I give into the temptation of DQ or McD's or any other fast food joint that can make me feel warm and cozy on a rainy day. I mean, I am human after all!
In other news, some sad and good things have happened. I won't get into the sad cause we're here for a good time, not a long time. The sad things that have happened don't affect me directly but my thoughts are definitely swamped with prayers for the families of a few people I know. The good news, well, I can't let the cat out of the bag on another friend's good news so....I won't use her name!lol. But a friend of mine (and her husband) is having a BABY! This will be their first and she's like 3 months along and they had the first ultrasound and it's ALL-SO-VERY-EXCITING!
Yet again, the universe has proven that when one life ends, another begins.

Bad Romance
Happy Mother's Day to everyone that has children, pets, nieces and nephews! Just because someone doesn't have a child of their own in their life doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't a 'mom' to someone at certain times.:)
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day and on a completely unrelated note, I came across this enjoyable video!

Again, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! :)

Never again
Never again will I go to Costco with children. I don't say this because I have deemed that all children are bad or anything like that. My intention, is to keep them safe from the 'other' people inside Costco. You know the people I'm talking about...the type that will run anything over to get to that 100 pack of toilet paper for $20, even if it means ending a child's life. Yeah, those people.
I'm not a fan of shopping in any way, shape or form but today (despite the headache that I STILL have) I decided to take an adventure because there were definitely some things I needed in bulk for brunch tomorrow. So my sister, my niece, my aunt and I made our way to the east end (yuck - no offense east enders but whoever created the design for the roads was on SOMETHING). Obviously, we hit up Costco where people almost hit up my niece like, on every single aisle. I mean, I'm not the biggest fan when a child gets between me and good deals either but would I run them over, probably not. I might say something like, hey kid, get the F*** outta my way but I think we can all agree that that would be less risky than taking the kid out with my 100 pound cart! Unless! The kids 500 pound mom or dad hears and ends up pounding me, but still! Anyway, lesson learned - my niece stays in the cart on our next journey.
OH, and I bought coke zero AGAIN and did NOT forget to put it in the cart this time. Another lesson learned! :)

Nothing new here
I hate to say this because I haven't blogged in almost a week but I haven't got much to say. I know, right?! Me, having nothing to say...kind of like the odds me not wanting to sing or dance. hehe.
In a nutshell my week has not consisted of too many exciting things. Mostly, I've been busy studying and I've been getting headaches here and there. Today was by far the worst...started at about 8 this morning and here it is, after 8 at night, and it's still here inside my head. If anyone has a cure for me to try, let me know as I'm open to suggestions. :)
On a positive note:
1) I just 'barely' passed my test, no thanks to my headache.
2) I got groped on Thursday at aqua size which I surely did enjoy. (Thanks again Michelle!). :)
3) On our way into aqua size, I heard a girl saying to her mom 'I want candy' repeatedly and laughed and said to Michelle, 'hhhmmm, I think it's safe to say she wants candy' which really isn't all that funny but hey, I already warned you this blog would not be exciting.lol. But then, in aqua size, one of the songs was 'I want candy'. I'd like to think some higher power was giving me authorization to have some candy - but I didn't. Stupid weight loss program!!! :s
And now that my studying is done for the time being, and life in general has hopefully slowed down a little, I shall be back to my regular blogging schedule. If anyone is still reading this after a week long lull, thanks for sticking around. :)

Must be nice
Oh, it must be nice for Keith and Marley to do absolutely nothing all day today (Sunday) while I study. I hit the books while they, well, napped and did pretty much nothing. Okay, well Keith actually did me a big favor and went to help my aunt with something. But Marley, well he was a lazy F***NUGGET for the better part of the day.
Oh, and I think I solved the mystery of why Marley isn't using his litter to go to the bathroom! Scroll down and you'll see why....
Oh yes, the lil' F'nugget is sleeping in his litter box. OYE!
