Yesterday I bought 3D Crest White Whitestrips to prepare for my sister's wedding. I want my teeth to be nice pearly whites for the big day. The thing is, I bought whitestrips but they're not just any whitestrips. They're 3D whitestrips! So I'm a little concerned. I mean, I want my teeth to be nice and white and shiney but like, I don't want them JUMPING out at people in pictures. Maybe I should rethink this purchase.....
In the meantime, I still have to write a toast to my sister. HELP! I suck at public speaking. Okay, well I don't actually suck at it - I just don't enjoy it all that much. And how awkward will it be if everyone is sitting there and I go to speak and my 3D teeth JUMP out at everyone. Awwwwwwkkkwwwwaaaaaaard!

I knew the Bride
Remember that song called 'In knew the bride when she used to Rock n' Roll'? My song would be 'I knew the bride when she used to laugh n' giggle'. *sigh*
Is this a common thing as you get older? I just don't laugh the way I used to. Maybe it's due to work stresses, maybe it's because of life stresses or quite possibly a bit of both.
I used to laugh almost non-stop and I want that back in my life. So I'm making it my obligation to either read, see or say something that's going to make me laugh atleast 3 times a day.
The first thing that made me laugh today was caused by Keith which it usually always is. He woke up to find me standing over him to give him a kiss goodbye and before I could even lean in to kiss him he stirred awake. He slowly eyed me up and down and said in a paranoid voice 'How long have you been standing there'? hehe - he'll NEVER knoooooow! ;)
Thank you to my husband that has yet to fail at making me laugh atleast once a day. MWUAH! <3

Dear neighbour,
Dear neighbour,
Your snotty and immature attitude has grown old faster than your maturity level ever will. I wish you many unbearable neighbours in your future and can only hope that what goes around, comes around.
If so, you will experience countless hours of base from music playing. May an alarm clock that is not your own wake you up every day on the weekend and beeping for four hours straight because someone can't even handle the responsibility of turning off an alarm clock. How you ever convinced your daddy that you are mature enough to have a condo, I'll just never know. May your early mornings and late evenings be filled with the sound of elephants walking through your home - how you manage to make so much noise? Again, I'll just never know.
Lastly, why is it that night by night it sounds like your moving furniture? And I mean literally. :s I can't even count how many people have come over to experience the multitude of noise and go WTF is she doing up there?' Take a hint little miss pullups - we're actually moving as in packing up and shipping out and have maybe made 1/10 of the noise you manage to create in the course of one evening.
Goodluck with the lady that bought our condo - I hear she's a screamer. :p

Charlie!
Hi everyone! Yes, my 11 followers are considered everyone in my eyes.lol. And who knows, it's quite possible I have zero followers now since it's been so freaking long sine I last blogged. :s
It's always the same with me - I can list off at least 32 reasons why I haven't been blogging which is coincidentally the same number of years I've been kicking around. However, I'm not even going to go there. I'm going to go straight to why I'm blogging tonight.
Right now as of this minute I have little ball of warmth all curled up on my tummy. Now hold the phone, I said ON my tummy - not in my tummy. lol. You see, I did something a little crazy a few weeks ago. Let's just say it involved me, a store and a puppy looking at me with ohsobigbeautifulbrowneyes saying 'please take me home and love me and let me be a part of your family' to which I said 'I'm F'd' because I immediately fell in love with him. So of course I texted Keith and the next night we went back for Keith to meet him and alas, we took our adorable little guy home. Due to his big brown eyes I felt Charlie suited him namewise as in Charlie Brown. My sister thought we named him after Charlie Sheen because he's a daaaawg.lmao! Sometimes my sister drives me plain crazy but most of the time she makes me laugh...even if it's a 'make me eye roll type joke'. hehe.
Anyway, I would love to post pics but I'm still blogging from my cell phone as I still currently have no computer. Once we are in the new house and we're settled I'm going to have a
pic-a-thon to get any remaining followers caught up.
It's like heeelloooo is anybody there? Then again, I'm sure that thought crossed your mind when I dropped the ball on blogging regularly. My apologies! I shall return!
Until then , hang tight! :)

Fortune Cookies now speak my future...I hope!
I've decided that fortune cookies now tell my fate. Last week we ordered Wok Box and my fortune cookie said that I was about to be rewarded for all my hard work. Two hours later our Realtor called saying we got an offer.
Cut to today...I decided to eat a leftover fortune cookie and it said that I am going to be unusually famous in the entertainment industry. An hour later I go for my break and this lady that works in the same building as me said she came across my weddings photos via coming across my blog! How crazy is that!
Now I'm not saying one person makes me famous but maaaaaybe one day I'll have a kajillion followers and perhaps get paid for doing something I love which is writing to the masses about our life with my odd sense of humour. Wouldn't that be awesome! Especially since I'm not the most computer savvy blogger in the world. And maybe in an unusual way I can work hand in hand with technology and brighten someone's day.
Oh the possibilities!!!

Miss me much?
So other than my test blog formed from my fingertips on my crackelberry finn, I'm ashamed to say I've failed to blog regularly. My question is, did you miss me much? If so I hope it wasn' too much otherwise you may find yourselves dissapointed.
In a nutshell......here's the 411 on us:
I got a teeny tad of a promotion along with another co-worker to which we were like wooooooohooooooo.
Keith's contract has been extended to which we were like boooooo-yah!
I turned 32 to which I was like boooooooooo but no 'yah'.
We got a real live realtor to assist in selling our condo which was helpful to the process. After two months of being on the market during the longest winter eeeevvvvver we just accepted a conditional offer as of yesterday. To this we were like FINALLYYYYYYYYY! We're still not in the clear until the conditions are removed but I dare say it looks very promising and we're excited to finish the process. If all goes according to plan we'll be househunting soon. :)
I'm sure a milllion other things have happened but I think I covered the most important events we've had take place.
So yeah, that's all for now and I'll be blogging again soon. Crackelberry and I look forward to it. :)

omg im waaaay hip! im blogging from my new blackberry which im nicknaming 'crackelberry finn' lol.
In honor of this being my first attempt I'm avoiding a full on blog and this is more of a test run. plus i think because its been so long since ive blogged i keep getting popups saying i need to do some updates which is waaaaay distracting. i am blonde after all.lol.
so in advance i apologize for my many typos. i promise ill get better sooner or later.
Also I would like to send a shout out to my dad who celebrates his birthday tomorrow so dad, this blogs for you.

Like father like daughter, like mother like daughter
So like, you know how we all fear turning into our parents? I do too. I mean, I always joke that ‘the higher power’ took all my mom’s bad qualities and all of my dad’s bad qualities and combined them together to create me. Hehe. It’s sad but it’s true. My mom has GORGEOUS hand writing and my father; well I refer to them as chicken scratches. No offence dad! :)
Case and Point Numero 1
So the other day we had a department meeting at work and we had to write up a list of certain key points and then present it to the other teams. While we jokingly discussed who was going to write out our key points. I was mistakenly encouraged to do it as my fellow co-worker felt my hand writing couldn’t quite possibly be as bad as his. OH, how I begged to differ but my team didn’t believe me and I was put in charge of writing up our information. At the end of it all, this fellow co-worker read off our points to the other teams and at the end said ‘And I think we’ve just proved that a girls handwriting can be just as bad as a guys’ or something along those lines to which I told him he threw like a girl. Lol. That’s right; I can take it AND dish it baby!
I AM my father’s daughter. *sigh*
Case and Point Numero 2
The other night I was over at my parents celebrating my Auntie Pegster’s Birthday. My mom and my Aunt got to talking and laughing about this one time they went downhill skiing and how horrible they were at it. My mom got into her experience on that trip and it sounded quite similar to what happened to me the one and ONLY time I went downhill skiing. My mom apparently has issues with holding on to rope too….read on. :)
Now, this has got to be one of the FUNNIEST stories I could tell you all but have held back b/c it really is just SO embarrassing and I don’t think I can do it justice via blog. However, I shall try in an attempt to bring some laughter to your day.
I was about 16 or 17 and was in Brandon, MB to visit family. My aunt and uncle got this BRILLIANT idea to go downhill skiing. I had gone cross country many times (thanks dad) so thought, why not?! I’m sure it’ll be fun…like really, what could go wrong? To be honest I’m not even sure where we went. I just hoped in the car and let them lead me to the time that became known as ‘The Time I Almost Died’. Okay, it was more like ‘The Time Kim Skied right into the Lodge, ‘Dislocated’ her Elbow, and Took Out about 20 skiers’ not in any specific order. :s
So yeah, it was like awesome – NOT! First of all the ski instructor (who was HAWT) introduced me to the ‘bunny hill’. Now, I’m sure it wasn't as big as I remember it but seriously, I’m from the Prairies so the ‘bunny hill’ to me was a freaking MOUNTAIN. For whatever reason they had the lodge at the bottom of the hill which at the time I thought was silly of them. Thinking back, I wonder if they put it there to stop people like me from skiing right off into the bush and directly to my death. To be cautious I asked the ski instructor if anyone ever skied into it and he said ‘No' and that was that. So like, this is where I should have gotten a sworn statement from him but yeah, did I mention he was cute?
The second I grabbed onto that rope to go up to the ‘bunny hill’ was the minute it all went really wrong. FAST!!! Because I was visiting in Brandon and the whole skiing thing was a random idea I hadn’t packed properly. All I had was my favourite pair of mittens that were wool to cover my hands and all the other clothes I had on were contributed by my aunt and uncle. If any of you didn’t know this, wool doesn’t hold up real well when there’s a thick rope cutting through it. You can only imagine how quickly I began to slide backwards once I was up high enough that the rope had finished cutting through my mittens and started cutting into my skin. And guess what happens when you start sliding backwards and there are about 20 people behind you…you take them OUT baby! All I remember is the ski instructor yelling ‘LET GO OF THE ROPE, GET OFF THE ROPE, GET OUT OF HER WAAAAAY’ to the people behind me as I flew down backwards screaming like a crazy lady. I even think I peed a little I was so FAH-REAKED! Or maybe I peed a lot, I can’t remember which. Did I mention this story was embarrassing?
Despite being extremely embarrassed, the ski instructor, was not only HAWT but was also very kind and gave me a pair of gloves to use for my second attempt going up. Oh yeah, I’m smoooooth. I got up to that ‘bunny hill’ without any problems. Going down was a different story. I somehow manage to plough right into that Lodge FULL FORCE. Did I mention that the ski instructor was also a BIG LIAR, DID I?! End result: I ‘dislocated’ my elbow and even though I had no doctor to prove it, I could hardly move my right elbow for the next 4 or 5 days.
So the other night I hear my mother telling us about how she had issues holding on to the rope when she went skiing and ended up taking out all the people behind her. How embarrassing! If the same thing hadn’t happened to me I would have made fun of her.
I AM my mother’s daughter. *sigh*
To finish off my downhill skiing experience my uncle had the NERVE to brag that he spent the day doing the Black Diamond runs and HE hadn’t EVER been skiing before. BUGGER! So then I bragged by saying ‘Well yeah but did YOU ski BACKWARDS? Didn’t FREAKING think so BUD’! lol.

YAWN....
Ugh, I hate to admit this but lately, I'm boring. I think I have a bad case of the winter blahs. Thank goodness for having cable right now because my mind is numb. I pretty much just want to stare at the t.v. if, and when at home. I would make fun of myself if I knew I wouldn't reach over and slap myself. Then again, I wonder if I even have the energy to smack myself. lol.
I mean, I have the day for crying out loud and all I can think about is how my back is sore and I still feel like I'm fighting a cold or something and how I don't want to do a thing. :s
Could I BE any more lame?!
I know I'll snap out of it once the sun comes out to play but for now, I kind of want to sleep away the day. Hhmmm, this makes me rethink buying one of those 'Energy Lights' that people use in the winter to save themselves from depression. they're WAY expensive but perhaps totally worth it. I think I just figured out what to do with our annual bonus. hehe. OR, I could pay bills and get ahead of them for once....that could possibly get me out of my funk too. Oh, all the possibilities!
Well, now that I have something positive on my mind I should really push myself and maybe do some exercising before the energy disappears on me.
Runners = CHECK, IPOD = CHECK, ENERGY = almost a full CHECK.lol.

Stay tuned for more blogging
Happy New Year everyone! I realize I have not blogged as much lately which makes me think that it's quite possible no one reads it anymore. EEP! But alas, I should have my very own computer back up and running soon. Aside from becoming addicted to HGTV by watching many, many episodes of House Hunters we've been busy enough around the Cullins Household.
We celebrated Christmas and it was lovely! I only worked two days in between Christmas and New Years so I actually felt rejuvenated. It was as though I had a bit of a holiday which is always nice. The trick was not signing up for every Christmas festivity that came our way. As always we took part in the most important events but put some on the back burner to take place after Christmas was over.
Following Christmas celebrations, we spent our 1st year Wedding Anniversary celebrating at a local B&B. We stayed at the Dragon's Nest Bed & Breakfast and it was AMAZING! I plan to dedicate an entire blog to that beautiful place once I get a chance to download some of our own pictures but in the meantime, please see the link below. We HIGHLY recommend staying there if the chance ever comes your way. Or, if for whatever reason you're not able to justify staying at a B&B in your own home city, it's a GREAT place to have friends or family to stay at if your own home is tight on space. :)
http://www.bbcanada.com/8361.html
In one sentence I would say that Dragon's Den felt 'Like home away from home with more ambiance and a better breakfast than I could EVER make'. hehe.
I hope all of you are well and still stop in to check and see if I've posted anything every once in a while. I seriously do hope to poste more stuff. I have a long list of things to blog about. Some things you have to look forward too...
Our night at a delicious restaurant in Vibank...
Our night a the Dragon's Nest B&B...
Our weekend with my niece in our tiny little home...
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
Cheers everyone and Happy New Year!!! :)

Remember me???
I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this before but I married a man that I went to high school with. As you may already know, we were not high school sweethearts and didn't actually meet till much later in life. I guess people could say that when we're all cute and cuddly, we're making up for lost time. teehee.
The thing is, I don't remember Keith at all from high school - like not even a blip on my memory radar. This is something that we often joke about and I find it odd that I don't remember him in the slightest. I mean, he's a pretty memorable guy in my opinion and I'm wishing I did meet him in high school if not for love then at least for his humour. :)
Buuuut, that's not how it worked out which is usually a-ok. However, recently we ran into two, not one, but TWO people we went to school with and alas, I remembered these two gentleman quite clearly and when Keith asked me if I remembered them. I kind of wanted to lie because I felt bad for not knowing him. And the thing is, I'm the queen of feeling guilty and I do this even in situations when I really have nothing to feel guilty about. And of course when I feel guilty, what happens? Well I usually end up having some messed up dream about it and wake up thinking WTF and end up trying to put two and two together.
Cut to: Me sleeping not so long ago. Me dreaming. Me back in high school but at the age I am now - so like 24. hehe. WHAT?!
All I can remember clearly from the dream is sitting on an exercise mat during gym class and some guy trying to kiss me and I'm like 'Dude, get off of me, I'm married'!!!! So that's all I remember aside from waking up and thinking that the guy looked familiar to me. I was like, maybe he's someone famous or something and then it just CLICKED about two hours later. It was KEITH in high school and not like my 30 year old husband Keith but teenage Keith. So I guess that makes it okay....because making out with some random teenage boy in high school in my dream is much more pervy than making out with the high school version of my husband, isn't it?
Yeah, I know, I'm majorly messed up.lol.

Zombie
I'm still suffering from bloggers block but at least now I think I know why! It's simple - we got Sasktel Max cable.lol. Some people wouldn't consider that having cable television as a distraction constitutes as 'bloggers block' but I beg to differ. I mean, I watch, then I stop watching and then I go to type and I have nothing to type because life has been pretty slow and why is it slow? Because I'm spending my spare time watching peoples lives on t.v.
I literally become a zombie in front of that thing. :s
Right now it's nice to have because it's cold outside and I never deny myself of cheap entertainment. We have it for the next three months but I already know that I won't miss it when it's gone. I'll be like, goodbye commercials that drive me nuts and HELLO SPRING!
For now, I sit back with the essence of control at my fingertips and CHANNEL SURF. lol.

Errrrgh - Arrrrrgh
I cannot write for the life of me lately. My apologies people! I've spent the past hour trying to create a blog and it sooooo isn't happening. :s
I think I have bloggers block and all I can do is throw my hands in the air and wave them like I *starts dancing*....ahem, I mean, throw my hands in the air out of frustration.
This blog = Epic fail!
Back to the 'drawing board' I guess.
If I don't beat this block by Christmas, have a HAPPY HOLIDAY everyone!!! :)
I think I have bloggers block and all I can do is throw my hands in the air and wave them like I *starts dancing*....ahem, I mean, throw my hands in the air out of frustration.
This blog = Epic fail!

Why is it that sometimes my daily 'bm' comes out looking like it's been braided?

Why therapy doesn't always work with my sense of humour
Background information: What seems like decades ago, I was in what we will call a very unhealthy relationship. To spare you the boring details that will not enhance the story I will just say that it resulted in going to talk to someone about stuff. I was placed with a wonderful woman that was great to talk with and influenced my choices in life greatly. I think therapy is a great practice and not the 'taboo' thing some people can make it out to be. For me, sometimes it's just nice to shoot the shit with someone who has your best interest at heart. I'm not saying that my friends and family don't but sometimes their judgement can be blurred in ways that a therapist's wouldn't. If you're lucky like I was and put in touch with the right therapist the results can be life altering in such a positive way. Buuuut, enough of that and on with my story because yet again, it's all about me. :)
Scene: We're discussing something traumatic that happened to me when I was younger and we're using visualization to help cope with it which means my eyes are closed and I'm picturing everything we're discussing. At this point, I have already envisioned myself putting that 'issue' in a box to be put away and locked in a drawer. Sound a little hokey (sp)? Definitely! But did I see results? Definitely!
Her: So now Kim, you have a key to this box. What would you like to do with it?
Me: I want to throw it into an ocean NEVER to be found again. I just want this to be done with and get over it already.
Her: That sounds like a plan so go ahead and throw that key away.
Me: Alright, it's gone - I threw it like rrreeeaaaalllly far.
Her: Okay, now open your eyes whenever you're ready.
Me: *I open my eyes and let them adjust*
Her: So how are you feeling?
Me: Better! I feel like that really helped. I was letting this 'issue' weigh me down and it was just time to let go.
Her: Now you know Kim, any time you feel like you want to or need to, we can revisit this 'issue' if necessary. Just let me know and we can open that drawer up again if you ever find yourself struggling with that 'issue' again.
Me: *deep sigh* But I already threw away the key and I didn't make a cooooopy.
The End.
I KILL myself sometimes!!! LMAO! :)

Life is BOO-TEE-FULL!
You know, sometimes life just gets so AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and a year passes me by like THAT *snaps fingers*! And once in a while I have the urge to stop time just to have a moment to breathe and really see things for what they are. As far as I know I can't stop time like the character Hiro in the show Heroes (but wouldn't that be SUPERFANTABULOUS?) Anyway, what I can do is be more aware of my surroundings and I try, I really doooooo. I am my father's daughter after all and he's a man that will just randomly notice something really beautiful and take the time to appreciate it. I mean, I've seen this man drive properly full speed on the highway while looking up to the sky just to catch a glimpse of one of our famous prairie sunsets. Scary? Definitely, but I admire him for this quirky habit and wish I could hop on THAT bandwagon.
The good thing is that I have great friends that send me many funny emails as well as many beautiful heart felt emails. Mrs. Dwayne THE ROCK Johnson sends me them often because she knows I'm a sucker and some of the most simple things transform into something so beautiful to me that I cry. She once sent me a clip of people (complete strangers to those around them) holding signs that said 'Free Hugs' and would walk up to people and offer them a hug and people would accept! Not only that but some people would see the person holding the sign and run up and give them a big hug. So simple, yet I wept like I had just given birth to my first born. Not that I actually 'know' what that's like but I can only imagine that a new mom just feels so overwhelmed with beauty that it consumes you to the point that you cry and cry and cry until there's no more tears left to shed, but like, in a good way. lol.
Well anyway, this all brings me to this video of an amazing vocal group that surprises unsuspecting shoppers with a song while they're eating lunch. Please check out the video and enjoy because sometimes life is hard. And if we're VERY lucky like I am, family and friends as well as complete strangers will come in to your life and make your day beautiful. :)

Take two and call me in the morning
Everyone around me is sick, including myself. :(
People at work are dropping like flies and well Keith, he got sick the moment we got home from Manitoba last week and he's stiiiiill sick - poor guy! All I can say is UUUUUGGGGGHHHHH!
I honestly don't know how some people do it! You know, they have the spouse, the children, the pets, the extra-curricular activities, etc, and yet they manage to make it through daily life when their family (and possibly themselves) is all ill. Me, I just want to curl up and call my mom over to come take care of me...I can be a bit of a suck when I'm sick. I'm groggy, emotional, irritable and just plain down and out.
I had a good run though in my opinion. It was only a matter of time till I got sick. With Keith being up all night almost every night for over a week my sleep was beyond lacking. And if there's one thing we all know by now, (if you read my blog on a regular basis) it's that I NEED my sleep. Last night was when it got the best of me and I woke up this morning with a fever. I'm talking a major FEVER, like I was HOOOT! I probably could have cooked brunch on my stomach had anyone in our household been well enough to eat it. I mean honestly, the heat was off, I had our bedroom window wiiiiiide open and I was feeling like I had just sat in a sauna for eight hours. You can only imagine how uber HAWT I looked and felt this morning. hehe.
The good news is that my temperature seems to have gone down and I no longer feel like a dirty, hot washcloth. I do however, have a bit of a headache so I just took a Tylenol and plan to go sleep it off....if Keith doesn't keep me up all night again. hehe. I'm just teasing him - he's well aware that I still love him despite my lack of sleep....but is also aware that I love my sleep too so you know, one of us might end up on the couch tonight. Ce la vie....and to any of you that may be feeling under the weather, take two and call me in the morning - I'm here for you. :)

Outted
It's official, I've been OUTED! It has come to my attention that my not-so-evil step mom and oh-so-adorable brother came across by blog last week. To be honest, I really, honestly thought I had sent them an email telling them about it and how they could stay tuned. I mean, I obviously didn't so then it makes me wonder, what the H**L is wrong with me?! When do IIIIIII not take every opportunity to talk about myself or tell people how I've found new and exciting ways to talk about myself?! I'll tell you WHEN, it's when I blog things like this:
http://marriagemadnessandmore.blogspot.com/2010/11/pimp-n-hos-night.html
I think I must have subconsciously tried to hide them from the harsh reality that I, Kim Cullins, have a potty mouth and a dirty mind on occasion and when I say occasion I mean any time that I'm not sleeping. lol.
So here's the truth everyone! It's staring the truth STRAIGHT in the eye and I love it! This is for all those people that may have gotten reprimanded for something they said on FB or in a blog about work, this is for those people that think they're too good to let their real side show and *scoff* at other peoples lives (you know you're jealous) and this is for my family and friends that can say they knew the REAL Kim because they accepted me for who I really am and because they read my blog (of course I have to plug my blog in a victorious rant.lol) and this is mostly for myself because - I *insert naughty word here* ROCK! I live my blog the way I live my life - I am who I am and if you can't handle it, no one said you had to be part of it. :p
Ah, it's good to get those self-affirmations out, isn't it?! Oh, and before I forget (because we aaaalllll know how I tend to forget things) I should mention that my not-so-evil step mom and oh-so adorable brother had so many nice things to say about my blog and I thank them for that. Although, they diiiiid mention something about having a chat with me about the 'bad words' I use. lol. WHO? ME?! NEVER! *replace naughty words and insert nice words here* lol.

Fond memories
Sometimes, just sometimes, life goes like this....
You're hanging out, watching t.v. and enjoying some R&R when you get that call. Most people know what call I'm talking about. The sad voice on the other end that's just so sad that you know something is wrong and you're crying before you even actually know what's wrong. That's the call I got last night from my dad to tell me that my Grandma H had passed away. :(
So Grandma H, this blog is for you (and you too Grandpa H)!
After I got that phone call from dad and cried my puuuurty blue eyes out and made phone calls and etc, I got to thinking of SO MANY really fun times with you. It's not like we ever got wild or anything but you were just enjoyable to be around and I like to think that in many ways I take after you. I mean, let's be honest, you and I know how to TALK TALK TALK constantly and mostly, it's about nothing in particular which was fine by us.lol.
I remember the first time you met Keith. You were so tired and you had said you didn't think you up for company for too long but when saw Keith come through that door your eyes LIT right up and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure if I wasn't there you would have hit on him BIG TIME.lol. And don't even try to deny it because I saw you batting your 'baby blues' at him on more than one occasion. But no worries, I was flattered that you thought he was cute and that you obviously approved. :)
Remembering that time made me also think about how you have such a big heart and you were always the one that 'fussed' over everyone to make sure that they were provided for without ever asking for anything in return or complaining about it afterwards. I think that the most common thing we shared is that you and I both secretly enjoy being 'fussed' over. I remember how proud and flattered you would get any time someone took the time to let you know that you're important and are just as worthy of being the center of attention as the next person.
Oooooohhh how you used to try to convince us not to get you birthday or Christmas gifts but when we came in hand with a present you really would just sparkle. And you grandma, deserve to sparkle!!!
On our most recent visit for your 85th birthday you spoke so fondly of grandpa and I just know that he welcomed you with open arms. It's been almost ten years since he passed away and I'm sure it will be a beautiful moment when you two meet again. By the way, can you perhaps not tell him that I gained weight back - otherwise I owe him $100 bucks and I seriously have no idea what the address is where you are so I can't even send a cheque. ;p
Not too long ago I told you how in some ways Keith reminds me of grandpa so if he asks how we are, please tell him that I found myself a handsome, stubborn type but VERY loving fellow - just like him.lol.
Grandma H, I only have one regret and that is how I would have preferred that my visit this weekend was to come up and say hi instead of goodbye. But instead of saying goodbye, I just want to say a big thank you! Thank you for those summers we'd spend in your garden laughing our asses off at basically nothing, for those summers up at Clear Lake where we ate ice cream till we could puke, thank you for our MANY talks and introducing me to The Inquirer with all it's hilarious but juicy gossip, thank you for always making me feel beautiful no matter what size I was, thank you for your sense of humour and as always, thank you for your love. You will truly be missed and I love you with all my heart. May your rest happily for all eternity. *XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO to infinity (and beyond)* ;)
